For the 1st time ever i'm really not that bothered about an FM game, haven't pre-ordered it, hardley played the demo. Last years was such a let-down, i hardly got past 4 seasons on any save, it just seems like a bit of a waste of time now. Saying that i'll probably see it in asda tomo and accidentally put it in the trolley :ninja:

FM09 was terrible IMO, I just couldn't get into it, so continued to play 08 and even 07.

Having played the Demo and the full game since yesterday 10 is better than 09. it runs better than 09 despite my PC being a little bitrubbish, a lot of the game is as it was but there are a few nice tweaks too. I plan to play more tonight and when i get chance over the weekend and give it a proper review early next week

I thought 09 was brilliant.

Got 13 seasons in with a file i done with city and currently 8 seasons in with a file with united. The only problem is the game was too easy. I completed a season unbeaten and won all 7 trophys 5 seasons running.

I can't wait to pick up FM10, Only problem is my laptop screen is fecked so i need to get that fixed before trying to bother with the new game. :(

October 2009: Harry Redknapp signs up to a competition with SEGA's Football Manager computer game, in which the winner will get personal advice from the great man on tactics in the game.

"I've got plenty of years experience in football management so hopefully I'll be able to pass on some valuable words of wisdom," Redknapp said.

October 2007: Harry Redknapp bemoans youngsters shunning playing football in the park in favour of playing computer games at home in his column in The Sun.

'Now I rarely see a kickabout in the park. All I see are the dazzling lights of bedroom windows from the glare of TVs and computers. It seems football cannot compete with an X-Box...

'It's almost as if today's generation want the vast rewards but they are not prepared to put in the work - or simply they do not have football running through their veins like I did.

'...managers like me should not be scapegoats if English kids would rather play fantasy football on their computers than the real thing.'

Starting with United first, until I get used to it.. then I'll explore the game a bit more.

I've bought Lloris £25m (GK), Jovetic £15m (AML/FC) and Vukcevik £7.5m(AML/FC).

I'll be using Jovetic as striker and Vukcevik as left winger

Trying to get a centre midfielder that ISN'T Mouthino/Veloso who are good on every FM.

That's funny, because 09 was the first one I played 4 or 5 seasons on in ages, that's in total ever btw. I didn't play 5 seasons if you added up all the ones I played on 06 to 08. Last one I played as much as 09 was 05.

What do people think of this game then? I think it's much improved on 09 the biggest change in the game since they went from CM to FM. It seems a lot easier to have control over your team and what they do.

Glad to see that United start with £72m to spend. I went with Akinfeev £22m Srna £23m Veloso £15 (All regular FM purchases :D) and Jovetic £14m

I've sold Fletcher - Chelsea came in with a bid of £22m and i couldn't say no. OShea went for £12m and Welbeck and Macheda both went on loan to Newcastle.

As i said before, I wasn't really bothered about it, but i did pick it up on release day anyway. It seems so much better than 09, its easier to play and navigate, and it seems to run so much faster. It seems to have put the fun back into FM because there aren't 100's of sliders to tweak. Have been listening to the podcast and completely agree, with I think its Miles Jacobsen, that it seems like the sexy young mistress to 09's long term wife.

Started a game with United. Only really signed Jovetic (15ish m) afeter getting quoted £35m+ for Modric, and a load of youngsters, got to Jan and Valencia got injured so have brought in Lennon for £13m. Have got Adler (15m) coming in the summer to take over from VDS.

Rooney is scoring for fun, as is Berbs. Owen can't hit a cows arse with a banjo so Machedda and Welbeck have been getting a few games and playing pretty well.

Love the new tactics, can really get the best out of a lot of players :)

Bit late now, but Toni Kroos is a savage CM/AM. Think I got him from Bayern.

Does anyone else have problems with feeder clubs in this game. I have never once managed to get the board to successfully find a club for International loan/first option. In fact, the only time I can specify, and get them to actually find a club, is with the commercial link.

I've not played the football manager but the championship manager is very poor. I played it for about an hour, bought Messi Ronaldo Nasri, got the 3 for about £60m
