Currently playing as QPR, not entirely sure why, possibly the Money aspect (bigger budget than United!). Going quite well but beginning to struggle at the halfway point of the season. Playing a 4-4-2 with a Midfielder being more attacking and another more defensive, Tommasi and Pajero is first choice but Rowlands and Mahon get a good share of games, wondering how to change it to baffle the opposistion without losing the stability of defence I've built up.
Got myself Razvan Rat and Vladimir Marin as left backs (was weakest posistion when stepping in), signed Heidar Helguson who's been pretty good, but Patrick Agyemang has been a revelation alongside him.
Signed Darren Barr from Falkirk too, very good defender.
OK Update. I spent alot of cash at pre-season as suggested, had some Eastern European Scouts out and they identified two awesome prospects who were both ready for First Team Action. So Rowlands went, along with a group of Reserves in order to fund the £1.8M joint bids I had to place in order to land these Polish Superstars.
Anyhow, Heidar has now scored 16/17 goals this season. The Polish lads are pulling their weight. But the Championship has decided to boot me into the air, I have not lost a total of 7 players (were all either First Team or Rotational) to Injury. I am having to play one of my youth team purchases on left wing, A loan signing that was at the club in the reserves is main striker, Diego Tristan who was devestating in his first stint is a sub because he's done the square root of F-All this second Loan stint. So I'm more than a little annoyed with the game.
I've passed the Loan Signing window too, so no-one can come in. And my main players, Pajero, Heidar and Leigertwood are crocked for at elast another month. A drop from 3rd to 8th, and out of the playoffs, the season will be over in a month.
