I didn't edit his stats

And it isn't that surprising that he'd be playing for me since I'd spent over 16 million on 16/17 year old wonderkids.

My team just fell apart - 27 games into the season, we were running along happily, unbeaten and 15 points clear of second placed Chelsea and 18 clear of third place Arsenal. 11 games later we've lost 6 and finished 3rd. How did that just happen? Arsenal won the league and Chelsea finished 4th. With Liverpool getting second :|

Looked nailed on to win everything, was 3-0 against Real in the champions league, lost 6-1 at there ground.

Thankfully i beat Blackburn 3-0 to win the FA Cup. The only problem with the team was lack of central midfield cover lost Hargo and the team fell to pieces.

Currently playing as QPR, not entirely sure why, possibly the Money aspect (bigger budget than United!). Going quite well but beginning to struggle at the halfway point of the season. Playing a 4-4-2 with a Midfielder being more attacking and another more defensive, Tommasi and Pajero is first choice but Rowlands and Mahon get a good share of games, wondering how to change it to baffle the opposistion without losing the stability of defence I've built up.

Got myself Razvan Rat and Vladimir Marin as left backs (was weakest posistion when stepping in), signed Heidar Helguson who's been pretty good, but Patrick Agyemang has been a revelation alongside him.

Signed Darren Barr from Falkirk too, very good defender.

OK Update. I spent alot of cash at pre-season as suggested, had some Eastern European Scouts out and they identified two awesome prospects who were both ready for First Team Action. So Rowlands went, along with a group of Reserves in order to fund the £1.8M joint bids I had to place in order to land these Polish Superstars.

Anyhow, Heidar has now scored 16/17 goals this season. The Polish lads are pulling their weight. But the Championship has decided to boot me into the air, I have not lost a total of 7 players (were all either First Team or Rotational) to Injury. I am having to play one of my youth team purchases on left wing, A loan signing that was at the club in the reserves is main striker, Diego Tristan who was devestating in his first stint is a sub because he's done the square root of F-All this second Loan stint. So I'm more than a little annoyed with the game.

I've passed the Loan Signing window too, so no-one can come in. And my main players, Pajero, Heidar and Leigertwood are crocked for at elast another month. A drop from 3rd to 8th, and out of the playoffs, the season will be over in a month.

Its once he signs a new contract they reduce it stupidly. Reduced it to £35.5m in my file.

None, I'm in my third season and Messi had just signed a new contract. :fonz:

Same happened with Aguero, while I was negotiating his transfer (at around 45 million) he signed a new contract which meant I could sign him for 40.

Nope, though it doesn't really make much of a difference anymore :p

Started a different game btw, became manager of Weymouth in the Conference, the media prediction is 18th but I'm currently quite comfortably top of the league thanks to some clever loan signings I made. :D

My friend's just leant me FM09, don't know why but we can both use it as you don't need the disc apparently. Does anyone else have a problem when they play an AM behind a FC? For some reason when I try this on the tactics screen it makes 2 AMs and 2 FCs show up, really annoying.

Doesn't happen with me, but I've downloaded the new patch and most of my FM's bugs went away

I've had that 2 or 3 times RL looks like i've got 15 odd players on the pitch, doesn't affect the game though.

Started a different game with Weymouth, made some good signing and comfortably won the Blue Square Prem

I also discovered that organising friendly matches is an easy way to make an awful lot of money for a non-league side so I ended up playing over 40 friendlies over the course of the season.

There are lots of bargains in the Spanish league, good players with a low minimum fee release clauses.
