You'd need a squad of 30 player to play every day for over two weeks, especially at seasons end when they're all knackered! Surely they could apply for some sort of mini season extension, and/or a couple of matches rescheduling if nothing else? Seems a bit harsh if not. They could be cruising to back-to-back 10-0 defeats as their players are immobilised with cramp or something!

You know what Paks like. He's probably voted JSP for woman of the year or something.

There's a worse one this year.

Guernsey

Maybe they went into hibernation late 2012.

Just been looking up some league tables in the lower divisions to see how they were panning out and I remembered the above post from last season.

Quote:
With 27 games postponed in the season due to Cup matches and the terrible winter weather, Guernsey were scheduled to play 17 games in April 2013, 23 games in 43 days, the last 4 matches of the season in 4 days. Finishing the season in style, Guernsey FC earned promotion for the second season in succession.

They were a new club, and easily got promoted, so it seems to point towards them playing in a league way below their level.. but still, to go on a run like that in that fixture list is amazing. And we get Premiership clubs etc complaining about a few games at Christmas, where these lads probably get about £100-150 per game. :D

Unreal.
