Right, you should all know how this works now. If you don't brief overview:

You state what film you watched, and a review. The Review can be as brief or as long as you like unless you are a budding critic, then make it brief.

I'll start it off, whilst it wasn't the "last" film I watched it was the last film I watched that I hadn't already seen.

I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry. Premise was awful, and sentimental, as is the way with alot of american Studio films. However I really enjoyed the jokes, and some of the arguments the main characters were involved in. Finally an extra rating for Jessica Biel, just appearing in it, let alone prompting Chuck (Adam Sandler) to fondle here fabulous looking lady bumps.

For me a solid fare of 3/5 (Biel made all the difference).

Cheers Carrot, I've been told it's a good film, but then that was by the slightly freakish 20/21 yr olds I used to play pool with.

Honestly can't remember the last film I watched.

I will venture:

Alien vs Predator: Requiem - uninspired and generic action flick, sequel to the equally poor Alien vs Predator

and

Hitman - film version of the hit video game series, couple of good moments, but largely dull and uninspired.

 Unlike you to watch Sci-Fi or Video Game transfers...

I watched both the AvP's and the first was passable, however there was absolutley no continuity between films. Not just for that I hated requiem, they fupped it.

It could have been good.

I think the story is a good idea. A place where rich people pay to torture people but it's quite slow getting to that point and it's not scary in way shape or form. The acting isn't great and you don't really feel any empathy with any of the characters
I'm suprised Tarantino was involved to be honest.

Isn't it just ;)

The first AvP was just about passable, it was crap, but at the higher end of the quality scale for crap. The second is trash, pure and simple. Other than the hybrid alien there's nothing to link it to the last film, and once the blonde cheerleader got cut I half I lost all interest.

I watched Kidulthood and Adulthood again the other night - Both go through the day in a life of firstly students in london and the every day things they go through glamourised ever so slightly and the second is a film based on retribution.

and Click is a Adam Sandler film, light hearted comedy you would think, but it does end up bringing out a bit of emotion inside you (if ya female)

I'd recommend watching all 3 films, but make sure you see kidulthood before watching adulthood

I saw Click last year, its a pretty decent film and it feels longer than it is. Would recommend it though.

Watched Stakeout (1987) last night, decent film, but I like those 1980's American cop film type things. :p

Then watched Foul Play (1978) which was abit crap, but managed to make it 'till the end, Chevy Chase is a decent old actor. Goldie Hawn was looking really good in her younger days.

Watched Flushed Away yesterday morning. Made me chuckle, especially the 'French' frogs, who when asked to begin their military plan, all put their hands up and shout 'we surrender!'.

Watched Run Fatboy Run at the weekend. There were a few funny parts from Pegg and Moran but on the whole it failed to impress me. Her indoors liked it though.

Verdict: One for the ladies
