Do we have any fans?

First up is The Impostor (2012)

Has anyone seen this documentary/ film? Based on a true story about the disappearance of a 13 year old boy - Nicholas Barclay - from Texas and his reappearance 3 years later looking nothing like him, in Spain of all places had me absolutely dumbfounded at the end. Mind boggling stuff.

If you're a documentary enthusiast, I thoroughly recommend this. I was absolutely gripped. I can't believe this happened in real life - you can't make this sh*t up.

Best documentary I've seen, and brilliantly done.

9.5/10

Sounds like a bizarre story. But I like a good documentary, so thanks for the tip.

This thread should turn out to be good.

I'll mention some tomorrow, I mostly like disasters/serial killers/mass shootings etc..

Same here, though I'll watch anything vaguely interesting.

Next up - Madness in the Fast Lane - a BBC documentary made in 2008 about a truly bizarre incident that took place on one of the motorways here. A person who seemed to deliberately be trying to run themselves over on the motorway. Utter madness. You then see the events unfold as things take a grizzly turn for the worse, leaving us wondering that this could all have been seemingly prevented. Worth a watch 7.5/10

The full thing is up on YouTube:

I've seen that one before, one of them went on to kill someone with a knife later on in life.

I've seen madness in the fast lane. Really want to see The Imposter..

For something a bit lighter try King Of Kong. Great one about a load obsessed gaming nerds who try to get the world high score on games (mostly retro) but the main focus is on two guys bidding to be best at Donkey Kong. It's like good vs evil in the end, the "bad" guy is such a bizarre little man. I loved it.
