I've heard some good things about this film before. I'll probably have it as the tenth film to watch, i will get round to watching them one day. Otherwise, I'll make a note of watching it anyway.

...oooh you're watching the 9 prequels first....good move

Another excellent film, probably be just outside my top 5 though.

Watched American History X again last night. I think it's my favourite (non-comedy) film ever. Can't believe I forgot it when I did my list :dunce:

This has got an 8/10 rating on IMDB. Going to give it a watch tonight.

Cracking film dude. Great cast too, let me know what you think.

I only just got round to watching it in the end. It is a very good film. Even the closing line.

However apparently that made a few people hate the character.

Suppose it does seem a bit cheesey but it works. Costner's best film in my eyes.

Thought i'd give this thread a bump as I was looking for a film to watch tonight.

I'm going to give 'King of New York' a watch. As recommended by Carrot.

I downloaded the Godfather trilogy last night. Never seen them so looking forward to giving it a watch meant to be classics that everyone should see.

First is epic, (IIRC) found the second one a bit dull, and the third is OK. Might have the second and third the wrong way around, it's been a while.

I thought the first 2 were excellent. The 3rd a pile of dung.

Was looking for something to watch so checked out this thread. Watched Goodfellas tonight. A really good film but not up there with Godfather 1 and 2 for me.

Seen LA Confidential. Another top quality film. Haven't seen Gangstar Squad. Gonna give it a watch soon though.

Watched A Bronx Tale the other night. The person who recommended it to me though definitely went over the top. Was a decent film but he was talking it up like it was one of the best ever.
