Hans Teeuwen, Jimmy Carr and Wim Helsen. Wim Helsen doesn't do anything in English but Hans Teeuwen does.

We had this thread before.

Mine is Dane Cook absolutely love him.

Second favourite is probably Frank Skinner though not known for being a fantastic stand up comedian still a fecking funny guy.

Frank Boyle and Michael Mcintyre are also great!

Frankie Boyle (once - he repeats himself a lot).

Dara O'Brien is ok too.

Seconded

I'd also put Lee Mack, Lee Evans and one of my local favourites Jason Manford in there.

Watched Brendon Burns on Comedy central the other night. I was pi55ing myself. I highly recommend watching him . Not if you're easily offended though, he sails close to the wind sometimes...

Rob Brydon. Went to see him a few months ago on tour and he was absolutely brilliant, didn't stop laughing once.

Saw a load when i was at uni at the comedy club and Ross Noble was brilliant. Also Bill Bailey - legend

With you on Omid Djalili. Bill Bailey is very good, although Channel 4 recently showed a reduced version of his Tinselworm show and it was average to say the least; could've been the editing I suppose. Part Troll is brillaint though.

I want to go see Omid Djalili, but he's not touring atm. Seen quite a bit of his tv work, and it's hilarious.

Bill Bailey's good, quite odd, but I do like him.

I also really like Jack Dee.

Went to see Al Murray on his last tour, was slightly disappointed, was just the same old jokes continued throughout the set. Was good when he was just ad libbing and chatting with the audience.

I saw him at the o2 in May and thought he was brilliant, but I can see how some of his humour can get repetitive. Was it the Pub Landlord that you saw?

The show he had on ITV a while ago was absolutely terrible. lol.

I can't stomach Djalili myself. The whole "I'm the only iranian comic" and the switch of accent halfway through the act got tired quickly for me. Especially as soon as Stephen K Amos starting do it too.

I like Chris Rock, though his audiences p*ss me off. I've seen Ross Noble and he was excellent when he warmed up. Still the best for me is Billy Connolly, though he doesn't have any new stuff out these days.

Another one who I saw live, as a warm-up act, who people might not have heard of is Boothby Graffoe... the only comedian named after a village in Lincolnshire.

Yeah it was the pub landlord, with most of the act being about the credit crunch. tbh i think i was only disappointed because i had seen Rob Brydon the week before. I had no expectations for him and he was amazing, which built up my expectations for Al Murray even more, and he was just good. I guess it would have been different if there was a bigger gap inbetween them, and i wasn't 1/2 cripplled from a mashed up back :old:

Crunchy crunch crunch  There was a fair bit on the credit crunch when I saw him, that and proving the existence of God.
