I quite like the start of it as they clearly stick a few divs in for us all to laugh at sort of like the gimmick acts you get on BGT or X Factor once these people are gone it becomes a bit boring as really it's car crash TV.

I mainly watch it for Nick his facial expressions when people are clearly talking sh*t are amazing and the interview round they have is just brilliant watching all these smug idiots get cut to people by ruthless experienced business people.

Needed to start some chat this international week is dragging on forever and this place has been dead

I think Spawny got married and had a kid with LaJo who used to post on here years ago.

I think Riq still posts but he's finished school now so he's probably working now.

Not sure what happened to SBH

Reedo when he's not posting just trolls Oliver Holt on Twitter and him and RJ now flirt via twitter.

I still lurk around when I can, but my job has pretty much taken over my life.

In terms of that situation, a lot of things happened that would make a Hollywood producer proud, but long story short she is now back in the UK after quitting her job as a doctor and running away from her problems to Eastern Asia. Still contacts me from time to time, but things seem to have died down. And no I never did get with her. You never know though. I joke. :p :ninja:

In terms of the current series of the Apprentice, I'm quite enjoying this season. They've got more than their fair share of nutters this year. I like Steven, the drama queen.

Looked at one point that someone was about to quit before they were fired

She pretty much did quit. She realized she wasn't cut out to be in the world she wanted to be in. Must be a hard realization.

I know but fair play to her for doing it although you have to say the phrase jump before your pushed summed it up. If she came back in to the boardroom which she would've she would've been sacked so she basically took someone down with her.

if you're on Sarah's team you're safe because as soon as she loses she's gone been lucky to be on the winning side every week so far would be awesome if Lord Sugar sacks someone on the winning side because they're clearly sh*t

Thought that scenario was coming made sense no point having people not up to it hanging around.

Those online videos were awful

I think it's time to put this show to bed... When two or three are going per week. They're either not bothering to look for good candidates or purposefully just getting rubbish ones, but if they're doing that.. Someone should tell Sugar, as he's just firing them all asap.

I think it's become a tired format but the problem is it's a TV show so sadly you need a few "characters" to keep the general public interested in the show and come up with some gimmicks. I like the change they made to make it about having your own business instead of just giving them a job in one of his companies but it needs another refresh imo.

I've long been of the opinion with the apprentice that if they were really good business people then they wouldn't need to go on a TV show to get it off the ground if the business was that solid they'd be able to attract investment through normal mean or by getting a suitable loan from the bank.

But it's not a "few characters" anymore.. I could accept a few. But it's mostly characters with maybe one or two non-idiots. Even that new(new but several years old at this point) format is deeply flawed.. Where they go through all the tasks and then he finds out their business idea is s*it at the end of the show so says no anyway.

I quite enjoyed last night's episode, even though the final three were totally incompetent.

I enjoy watching the tasks, they keep the show interesting. But I agree it has stagnated over the past couple of seasons.

I really thought this was the week where he would sack someone from the winning team

Spoiler:
daniel's behaviour after Felipe made what turned out to be the task winning decision was shocking. He basically quit the team and ruined any chance they had of selling those other products. He was right to be upset but sometimes you have to accept the bosses decision and get on with it that's why he's the boss and it turns out the boss made the right call

This is the first season I've actually watched and it's quite decent watching. For someone that hasn't seen any of them before it doesn't seem tired to me.

Spoiler:
I agree RE: Daniel, his petulance was shocking, and I'm surprised more wasn't amde of their behaviour in the boardroom. He dodged a bullet there IMO. Felipe didn't cover himself in glory in the situation either. He made clearly the right choices and should have dealt with Daniel much better. Just say the decision has been made, if you don't like it then you're off the task, go away because you're ruining it for the rest of the team.

They summed Mark up quite nicely last night saying he's quite conniving in the way he manages to get his way, but it always pays off, he always produces the goods. The fact that he gets there by underhand tactics isn't necessarily a bad thing. You could say well done to him for being convincing.

I can't believe James went. Yes he can be a muppet, but at least he had something about him. Sanjay has done absolutely nothing since the start, and as for the girl claiming she's been 'consistently delivering' that's laughable. This is the first week she's actually done something of note, and that was even mentioned to her by Lord Sugar. Yes James made a few errors this week and his handling of the girl wasn't good, but his decision on overriding the others' choice of products to sell was spot on (that wasn't even mentioned in the boardroom) and I think the decision not to tell the others about getting that guys name right was the right one as well.

I guess the constant mistakes he's made throughout the show outweighed the constant nothing that the other two have offered.

For me there are two frontrunners in Mark and the Geordie girl. I like her, she's impressed me from the start and I can't really remember her making any mistakes. No-one from the other team have anything about them from what I've seen. Felipe is another that doesn't really offer much, and he's very weak.
