Sad , very sad.
But I think I once wrote on this forum I expect a civil war in my lifetime. We are getting nearer and there is no way out .

Terribly sad but the important thing here is that the people carry on don't let the terrorists win.

There are obvious concerns over how the government tackles this issue with many of these people hiding amongst us here in our own country and an unco-ordinated clearly flawed policy on attacking them on their territory.

Hacking group Anonymous declares war on ISIS in YouTube video saying it will use its knowledge to 'unite humanity'
Hacking group Anonymous has declared war on ISIS in a new YouTube video following the horrific attacks in Paris on Friday night which left 129 people dead.
In a newly released video on the group's French YouTube page, the Anonymous hackers warn the terror group to 'expect us' because its members 'are going to hunt you down'.
The hacktivitst group joined those condemning the terror attacks in Paris on Friday night and vowed to hunt down those responsible online and expose them. In the video, and wearing the group's signature Guy Fawkes mask, a spokesman says in French: 'Anonymous from all over the world will hunt you down. You should know that we will find you and we will not let you go.'
He continues: 'We will launch the biggest operation ever against you.
'Expect massive cyber attacks. War is declared. Get prepared.
'The French people are stronger than you and will come out of this atrocity even stronger.'

The hacktivists already publish and update a list of Twitter accounts they claim spread propaganda in support of ISIS.
Now for Operation Paris, or #OpParis, the group is urging its members to hack into ISIS wesites to steal valuable information and leak it online.
The group's official Twitter page claims to have already hacked and taken down 2256 pro-ISIS Twitter accounts.

The group launched a similar attack on the terror group following the Charlie Hebdo massacre in January and closed down an extremist website.
ISIS has claimed responsibility for the Paris atrocities which killed at least 129 people on Friday night.
French forces struck back with a massive bombardment of the jihadist group's stronghold in Raqqa, Syria, last night.
Twelve aircraft, including 10 fighter jets, dropped 20 bombs, destroying a jihadi training camp and a munitions dump in Raqqa, where Iraqi intelligence officials claimed the attacks on Paris were planned.
British police and spies are working closely with counterparts in France and Belgium to identify and pursue those behind the Paris massacre.
Security has been beefed up in UK cities and ports as Britons were urged to remain vigilant, although the terror threat level has not been changed from the second-highest 'severe' ratings

Turkey have shot down a Russian fighter jet. This could get very ugly.

I guess it depends on who you believe if Russia jets have flown in to Turkish airspace without permission they will be shot down that's just the way countries defend borders.

The last thing the world needs is another war after the devastation the last 2 caused the world should never allow those mistakes to happen again especially wars based on religion which is what is at the core of this conflict. Tensions are obviously very high right now but they will calm down again soon like they always do but it's just a shame how many innocent people die on both sides of this.

The main issue is probably USA can't really afford another war in that part of the world my guess is they're hoping Russia go in and wipe out IS for them but that part of the world will continue to remain a very complicated place we'll never change it to be like we are in the west and i'm not sure we should be really trying to do that either.

According to NATO Russia did fly in to Turkish air space 'for a matter of seconds.'

MP's vote to support further air strikes in Syria

While I think something needs to be done to stop terrorist groups like ISIS it really feels like we're going into this one without a plan.

Innocent people will die it will create for refugees who will look to flee to Europe for safety and it feels like there's no real plan as to how we reach our goals just drop a load of bombs and hope for the best.

What would you propose Con? Turn a blind eye let them continue to build and allow them to carry on their merciless killing?

Thank f*ck those before us didn't think the same when it came to the Nazis

They sort of did though if you've studied history you'll know that the allies dragged their heels quite a bit when it came to the rise of the nazis

Airstrikes will achieve nothing but motivation.

What motivation? Don't you think they have motivation as it is how many world wide terrorist attacks committed by ISIS this year? Ignoring a problem isn't going to make it go away.

We can't say air strikes will do nothing and not propose an alternative. What do you want to do? Troops on the ground?

How long do you propose we keep turning a blind eye? Do you think there is a way of sorting this with peaceful means?

Will it take another 7/7 style attack on the tubes before we should get involved? Something like 1200 people per tube travel in rush hour it's the perfect place to hit and only a matter of time.
