What's everyone doing over the Christmas Holidays?

We goto my parents Christmas day for a Big Chritsmas Lunch with the Famioly and a big buffet at tea time, Boxing day we drive over to jen's mums for a few days and another big Christmas Lunch,

2 Christmas Lunches, no Cooking :)

New Years we're having a party as usual, for the first time we will actually be playing the Xmas Number 1 lol

Outlaws for chrimbo day, i'll be driving but i'll make up for it when we get home, at least theres no dinner to cook. Rest of the time play with the kids toys and drink beer (when not on call). No plans for New years as I no longer have a social life, probably watch Jools' hootenanny and moan my arse off about being bored  .

The family all meets up at my auntie's to have a quick drink and exchange pressies on Christmas morning then it's back home where my parents will be joining us for dinner. My brother, sis-in-law and their family will join us around 6pm for a few more drinkies and some food! :D

Providing Delta Airlines don't start cancelling flights, I'll be going to New York on xmas eve dressed as Santa. Have no idea what we'll be doing on Christmas day itself, will most likely end up wandering around aimlessly as none of us have been there before. New Years we'll be going to Times Square then onto a club I expect. $80-100 for entry to a club with an open bar for 6 hours? Yes please. Back on the 3rd or 4th and back to work :(

Playing golf Christmas Eve (unless it's snowing. Actually, we may play anyway! ). Christmas Day dinner at my Dads then home for drinks and vegging in front of TV. Boxing day going clay pidgeon shooting, watching Rugby on 27th, then nothing but relaxing/drinking/eating 'til back to work on 4th.

Crimbo with my family until the 29th when playing a charity golf match. Ah, Texas Scramble on the icy fairways. Love it!

No plans for NYE, sure something will pop up, it usually does.

Oh the usual.

Enduring imbeciles and being polite (because we apparently share some genes) when I'd much rather spear them all in the throat.

Spending money on said imbeciles. Driving, because I made the mistake of being the only non-drunk of the family.

Counting every fekkin grudging minute until the stupidity is over for another year.

Finding there isn't a single damn toffee finger left in MY quality street.

Giving the death stare to people at work who, upon being regaled with the above complaints, shout "oh cheer up you old scrooge".

Wishing I could join the Jehova's Witnesses on a temporary basis, say until January 2nd.

On the upside: Wallace and Grommet and maybe three points at Hull.

I'm going to be relaxing for two weeks, I'm back at uni from 4th Jan 2010. Went for a fantastic meal with the friends yesterday and I'm going to make sure I make the most of this break :fonz:

So long as you fit some celebrating in, it's all good.

Double time for the holiday hours used to be sweet... before it was generally abolished.
