Not sure where is more quiet, here or there! Ah well. Soon not have this place to compare it to. Maybe now brings an end to my forum days?

To be honest I thought this place was gone.

Not sure why it's suddenly gone quiet on the new place maybe we scared them all off

I've not flooded the place with posts as don't want to step on toes and been quite busy.

Its almost too quiet on the new member forum for me to get up to 10 posts to be able to post on the main forum. I'll get there eventually I guess.

Not sure how that new members bit works as most of the threads in there are duplicates of the ones in the main forum and I think one of the mods/admins sort of copies posts across.

Think it's just a reflection of forums they're a bit of a dying breed online they're not as "smart phone" friendly as social media

I'm sure I've posted more than 10 times on there and have asked for a 'real person' account. Been ignored. Hmmph! Not sure about it really. That Caterpie guy has said he still doesn't have a real account.

Think most of the guys have made it through now maybe try and be active a few days in a row just throw in chuck away posts to get the numbers might be a timing thing

Not sure what the story is with Caterpie I get the impression there's a reason why he isn't allowed full membership

I'm late to the party - life has been pretty busy and I haven't been on here in months - sad to see it's closing but it was inevitable. yes FB and twitter and Instagram have killed most forums... I'll try and send you a mail JSP, COn, lajo, IDFD, Red Sagem, Tache, FE, TNNE, Pak and everyone else I can't recall (it's really been a lot of ppl eh), etc and get in on the FB groups etc.

Some of my early footy forumming memories are from here after they closed 606 threads on BBC. Never forgot the goldfish bowl, Res Joe (hope he is well) and even the art & banner competitions. It's shocking but I think I've been on this forum well over a decade!

Anyone want to keep in touch can shout me at bruckwine@gmail.com - signed up to that stretford site as Manmorefyahyoo too and am on redcafe as bugmat :busted:

And when I do register now they will think I'm doing that because it's still possible we meet in stockholm. :ninja:

To be honest based on what I was told this place was days not months away from closing.

I'm sure they'd be happy to welcome someone who can provide a pre game report on who the final.

Have you left a message on SEA profile? He'll sort it, or Bob. It's a bit of a pain, but complaining will make it more difficult I believe!

I got a polite request from one of them asking to improve my punctuation a few weeks after I started posting regularly.

It might be something as simple as that Pak. I know that might be tough with it being a second language but it could be something as simple as that.

Hi guys. Managed to fix the server malware problem so the urgent need to wipe the server has disappeared for the moment. :yaay:

Currently I am still using this server for my email as it is looking like my cheapest secure option, so thought I'd leave the forum online for the time being.

If you guys want to use it feel free... sounds like the other place may not be as friendly as was first thought.

If there's any future developments with the server about to go offline I'll let you know.

Good news Con, I can't get on with the forum everyone moved over to. Although it may be a little late for all the others that have gone there?
