I don't know if anyone can help on here, I have tried a satellite forum and also an expat forum.

I have:

2 TV's
1 humax HDR freesat box
1 satellite dish with one LNB
1 coax from dish
length of coax
RF modualtor.

In winter we need to decamp into the back room where the fire is.

The TV in the front room works fine. We have the satellite dish plugged into the HDR box with only one cable, so I have it on loop through.HDMI cable from Humax to TV. It's ok.

I wanted to run a coax from that room to another room to get TV in there, albeit the same picture on both.

So I bought a Mercury RF modulator. Connected the scart in on the RF modulator to one of the scarts on the humax HDR (I have tried both) then run a coax from the modulator TV/VCR point to the arial socket on the second TV. Turned it to the channel that is shown on the RF modualtor, but nothing.

Could be something as simple as a faulty rf modulator or even a bent pin on the scart lead? A video sender might be one way around it

I think it might be the modulator, although it is brand new.
