What other games do you have on the Wii? I haven't got cod, but i do have Mario Kart which can also be played online.

If you go online on Mario cart, it gives you a code on your Mario Kart Driving Licence. If you kknow someones code you can key it in and then look for them and race against them.

A US couple have been ordered to stay apart following a violent clash over a Nintendo Wii on Christmas Day.

Randi Young, 24, and Heath Blom, 26, from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, were arrested after a row over the games system escalated.

Reports suggest that the argument began when Blom complained about Young's decision to buy him the console rather than the remote control airplane he had asked for.

Police were called to the pair's property after the altercation became violent and a no-contact order was subsequently filed.

Young has since appeared in court in an attempt to get the order lifted. However, a judge has refused to comply with the request.

TBH Dead Rising on the Wii, nah don't do it i was great on the 360 becuase it has the power to heavily populate the mall and on the Wii it is iirc 15 or 20 max on the screen at the same time whereas it was countless on screen at the same time on the 360. Get House of the Dead if you need a zombie fix.

Cheers, bought Bully instead, jury is out. Played it once and it was ok but I might get bored quick, if the missions get too difficult like GTA i'll give up like I did with that probably

Did a softmod on it over the weekend..and I didnt brick it :fonz:

Found a really simple guide on how to do it..are we okay to link to sites that tell you how to mod something? If not and anyone wants a link to it PM me and i'll send you the link as it is really easy to do if you follow it properly. You pretty much need an your wii, wii remote and an SD card..and having your wii wifi enabled would help too but im not sure its essential.

So yeah, got a few homebrew things on it now :D emulators and what not..pretty good.

Yes, by all means post a link or reproduce it here (if practicable). It's for educational and information purposes only, you see :D, which I believes gives us some sort of exemption from legal proceedings.

Good stuff :D

*link removed due to security risk*

There you go then.

There's the usual disclaimers I think.."if you break your Wii its not our fault there's always a risk doing something like this" etc etc..but as I say, was fine for me and I would assume for anyone else as long as you do everything exactly as it says.

Unfortunately I've had to pull the link. That site contains malware that may breach browser security.

Luckily for anyone interested, I already DL'd the info and will be replicating the guide here shortly.

Is that to run a GameCube emulator on it? Surely it can't be for downloaded and burnt Wii games can it? You need physical hardware for that.
