It seems like years I've been waiting for this to come out. But I just can't bring myself to buy it now it finally has a date. I must have put it in my basket at least 10 times. It's a lot of money, but there is a pre order bonus!

Only a week away, ads on TV now too. We have guests here next week, so it will be burning holes in me from the shelf. :(

When the original Mass Effect came out I had the missus round for the weekend as it was long before we lived together. From the Friday evening when she arrived til Sunday night a couple of hours after she left I played 21 hours of Mass Effect :D

All about priorities Mr C, I saw her every weekend, but I'd been waiting months for Mass Effect :fonz:

Surely she's more interested in spending time with your wife and kids? Suggest the lot of you go out for the day, then pretend you're ill and say they should go without you... sorted

It does look very good, and the reviews have started to come out and say the same thing. Uncharted had taken the crown from Tomb Raider in terms of archaeologist / treasure hunter gets into all sorts of trouble while looking for treasure and ends up killing a load of people, this game might take the crown back.

Has anyone played yet?

I've just done the opening bit and I think I'm in love with it already.

I love games where you have to work stuff out.

Need very quick reactions on some of the things, I've already died once because I didn't press a button quick enough. :D

Not been on this for the last few days, fallen victim to that manflu thing and not been able to raise a finger. :p

On the first day of having the game it appears I rushed through the first level and just did the main objectives, it wasn't until the day after I noticed that there's alsorts of stuff to do on each level, like finding documents and relics, plus various other little things that help you on the level, a map, and gps system.

On the first level I've only completed 26% so I'm going to go back and explore a bit more on that. Think I'm upto the third level so far, and it's still just as brilliant as it was when I first started.

Some people have commented saying that there's not enough puzzles to work out, would be great if there was more I guess, but I think the game makes up for that. Maybe it's because you go back in time, to when Lara first became the Lara that we know her, so she's learning all the other stuff you see in the later (earlier) games.

I love it. The landscape is enormous and there is so much discovery you have to do to earn points for upgrades, so it's not just walk from A to B and kill people. You need strategies for kills of large groups too. It's a top game.

I find the map a bit tricky, it's a bit too small

Reedo, I'm up to the snow bit.

Just seen the legs of some giant troll type thing. I hope that's not some kind of end of game baddie, because I hate that in games.

Still liking it though, I think the puzzles are ok, found a couple of tombs so far too. Loving the bow, top weapon.

I'm probably quite far behind you, having started a new game on FM now as well.

I'm at the bit where you meet up with that bloke who has been speaking to you over the radio, at the top of the mountain.. just off to find his backpack it seems. I might go back and do that first level though, which I missed so much of.
