When can you start looking for collectibles eg pigeons in GTA4 or those white packages in GTA3.

Just completed the mission where you chase the guy from the Xfactor style show.

Im looking forward to doing more heists, as the first one is great.

I have to say Michael has the best story and missions so far.

100% agree. I don't like Franklin's missions so far, but don't think they've really started yet.

The heist was really good, hopefully there's plenty more where that came from.

Caved in and bought it.. It's pretty unbelievable.

When the world sort of opens up, it really reminded me playing GTA 3 the first time. When you get a sense of the scale. And I thought it'd never get bigger or better than that then :D

Does this game have a language setting? If someone could let me know am, I might this this afternoon if it does. Otherwise it will be no good, all in French.

Yes it does. :geek:

The language in GTA V depends on your console language setting. If your console language is not supported in GTA V you will be prompted to select a language when starting the game. If you would like to reset the language after the game has already saved it:

On Xbox 360: Hold LB + RB while booting the game

On PS3: Hold L1 + R1 while booting the game, or clear your game data (NOT save data) from the PS3 Game Data Utility in the PS3 XMB (system menu).

No worries. And the fact you don't have to wade through menus written in French just to find the language settings is a big bonus.

I remember a few people who had their mobile phones put in a foreign language as practical jokes but so well buried were the settings that they never found where to put it back into English.

The mission where Michael gets
Spoiler:
drugged by his son and trips out and you get to free fall through the sparkly colourful los Santos
is brilliant fun.

Not a major mission spoiler there but it's a nice surprise.. And I dunno how to hint at what it is.. I'll try saying it's the mission where you're Michael and you take Jimmy to see his friend at the burger joint and what happens after you meet the friend.

I'll be honest, I don't even know how to get online (haven't looked that hard tbf).

My internet connection is always terrible on the Xbox (despite being good elsewhere, really annoying) so I shouldn't do it, but I'll get involved if that's cool.

There's another collectible too, parts of a love letter or something like that that, I found my first by riding the cable car up the mountain

And another one, finding parts of a UFO. Haven't found a single one yet though.

Anyone manage to get in the game? It took me ten starts, but it finally loaded and I got about 3hrs done with my mate.

You can vote if you liked or disliked missions, and we disliked the chaser missions as they went on far too long.

The lag is good considering the servers are being hammered, and the deathmatch games were similar to RDR.

I'm not touching it until they fix all the problems.

Too many stories of people's save game files from the single player becoming corrupting so they have to delete them.

A friend of mine had to cleanly uninstall everything GTA related off his XBox, and he can't get the game to work at all, it just freezes on the loading screen, even without save game files in place.
