City have won every game so far at Eastlands this season and will be glad to be back there after 2 draws away from home, Unlike their opponents this weekend though they have had a week off so should be nicely refreshed although they are still missing Robinho but as they have another 80 million pounds of striking options that shouldn't be a worry. When you have 3 strikers out and can still call on Santa Cruz (£18m) and Tevez (£25-47m) thats not a bad choice is it.

Fulham played Thursday evening and in Hodgson's own words the Premier League is more important, They were unlucky against Roma, I've not seen the incident but i gather the sending off was harsh.

Mystic Jarv predicts a 3-1 win for Manchester City

City are a strong and very determined team. Manager Mark Hughes is slowly getting most of his players fit. Soon he'll be having the problem of naming his best XI.

Fulham haven't been brilliant on the road and I think they'll struggle at Eastlands with their massive workload. Three games in six days (two league games and Europa League tie) can't be a great prospect for them.

Verdict: 2-0

I've gone for a 2-1 City win and have also made this my bonus banker. The Only team out of the 'big 4' plus Spurs and City who are at home and x3 multiplier! I do think it could end up being a bit of a risk though Fulham aren't a bad side.

City all the way in this one it's something like fulhams 20th game already this season compared to Citys 11th and with City not in Europe they'll be much freshers I think they'll be comfortable winners

4-1 I reckon.

City goal: Costly miss, Bobby Z. Fulham fail to clear a Man City corner and it bounces inside the six-yard box, never a good sign for a defence. Emmanuel Adebayor prods it goalwards and Joleon Lescott applies the finishing touch from approximately two inches out.

1614: GOAL Manchester City 1-0 Fulham

City goal: Fabulous goal and that should be that at Eastlands now. Gareth Barry finds space down the right and he picks out Martin Petrov on the edge of the Fulham area, the supremely-talented Bulgarian dummying his way past one defender before slotting into the top corner from 16 yards.

Fulham goal: It's not over - don't worry, I'll reprimand myself for that, 2-0 is a very dangerous score. Stephen Kelly crosses from the Cottagers' left, Bobby Zamora chests it down and the in-form Damien Duff spanks a left-foot shot into the bottom corner past Shay Given.

1622: GOAL Manchester City 2-1 Fulham

Fulham goal: Man City undone by a set-piece and this one is up for grabs now. Fulham swing a free-kick from the left high into the City box and Clint Dempsey rises high to nod into the corner, past Shay Given's despairing dive. Cracking header. What an afternoon.

1628: GOAL Manchester City 2-2 Fulham
