Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri could join Sevilla before the transfer window closes on Wednesday.

France international Nasri, 29, is likely to leave City despite making his first appearance of the season in Sunday's 3-1 home win against West Ham.

La Liga side Sevilla will not arrange a medical until wages have been agreed.

City manager Pep Guardiola did not allow Nasri to train with the main group when he reported back for pre-season as he had returned overweight.

£40m I'd consider selling him if Mourinho thinks he's got enough in Fellaini/Herrera/Carrick to do that role or he could bring Bastian back in.

I'd be surprised if we did sell him but if we do I'd want a decent profit on him even if he hasn't really performed for us if they're coming for a loan deal they can do one.

So was Ron Vlaar a good world cup doesn't make a player if Porto are happy to loan him out rather than sell him suggests to me that he's not been that impressive for them.

£1.3bn spent by Premier League clubs in this window when you think about it that's a disgusting amount of money which is mostly generated through fans either on the gates or paying for TV subscriptions. Less than 1% of the TV money now goes to grass roots development.

You've now got guys going for £30m like Slimani to Leicester who's 28 and has had 2 good season in Portugal scoring at a rate of about 1 in 2 game then on the flip sides youngsters like Bailly going for £30m when he's played less than 50 professional matches. So you either pay a premium for a guy over 25 for his proven record or a premium for a guy under 25 for his potential.
