Apart from Hull I wasn't confident on anyone else definetly going down you expect the usual suspects of Sunderland, West Brom, Swansea to be in the mix plus the 2 newly promoted teams then you add in teams like Watford/Palace who had good and bad spells last season it's hard to tell what to expect from them.

Top 4 was a complete punt there's 7 realistic contenders for top 4 next season 8 if you want to include West Ham but I did say realistic.

With the TV money being what it is now I don't think top 4 actually means that much anymore it only really effects our ability to compete against ourselves as even a club with no CL money are still spending big sums of money

Totally forgot about Chelsea when I did my predictions  no European football could be key for them and Liverpool this season.

The Premier League is so unpredictable at the moment but going on recent trend of the last 3 seasons the reigning champion has a stinker of a season the next year

I think Leicester will find it more difficult this year, teams will know what they're about, where their dangers lie and probably respect them more now that they're champions. Even towards the end of last season I think teams still turned up thinking 'this is Leicester, we're better than them despite what the table says.'

I think they'll finish around 6th or 7th, and get dumped out of Europe in the group stage.

With Liverpool I just look at their squad and see a whole load of mediocrity and not much quality. Klopp can only do so much, I think they'll be lucky to get 6th even without Europe as a distraction.

Chelsea I think will be strong again this year. Conte looks like he knows how to put a team together and get them working as a unit. That said I don't think they have enough quality to win the league, but I think they'll be there or there abouts.

I'd be amazed if Leicester make it out of the CL group, I'd be surprised if Spurs make it through although a lot of that will depend on who they get in the draw as Leicester will be pot 1 Spurs I'm guessing will be pot 3 or 4 with Arsenal/City likely pot 2 and as seasoned pros in that I expect they'll both progress regardless of what comes out in the draw.

I tend to agree with Leicester but it depends on how teams play them if they finally show them some respect and sit deep and force them to come out and play they will find it more difficult. That means the defence which lacks pace has to come up, there's less space for Mahrez (assuming he's still there) to exploit between the lines and less space for Vardy to go in behind plus they'll really miss Kante's energy they need the new guy Mendy to really hit it off. I think they'll end up somewhere between 5th & 10th.

Chelsea a lot depends on how Conte sets them up to protect that defence which is still the same cr*p defence that let them down last year. Terry & Ivanovic another year older and Zouma missing at the start of the season as well Kante should give them a bit more protection you assume it'll be him and Matic in front of the back 4 but then where does Fabregas go? For me Chelsea all comes down to Hazard if he decides he wants to play again they'll be a much better side he is the game changer in that team plus can they keep Costa fit or is he even staying.

Spurs will be interesting a lot of players stepped up their game last season and improved massively Rose, Walker, Dier, Dembele & Lamela all improved massively on the previous season plus Alli came out of nowhere and was a surprise package can they all repeat that level as a minimum and get better.

Klopp has had 6 months getting his message into that squad and has had the summer to remould it in his image still looks a work in progress to me but who knows.

The Premier League has attracted some huge managerial names it has all the current fashionable names apart from Ancelotti the heavy hitters who are always linked to the top jobs whenever they've come up over the last 5 years are all here now and they're all earning mega bucks it'll be interesting to see if they all finish the season as there's only 1 title and you have to say there are 7 clubs who should be targetting winning it. Leicester, Arsenal, Spurs, City, Utd, Liverpool & Chelsea imo should all be targetting winning the title none of this top 4 bullsh*t everyone should've built a squad this summer to try and win it no excuses.

Will edit this before the season starts but these are my initial thoughts. Very tricky to predict anything in this league now. Which is a good thing, I guess.

Lowest odds this time around for a winner are 1500/1 (Hull)

Bookies are bit afraid after last season .. Wasnt leicester 5000/1 ???

Think I'll stick with this lot now. That top 3 is almost impossible to predict. Apart from they will be the top 3 in some sort of order, imo.

Backing a Pulis side to get relegated?

I expect them to do what they do and end up somewhere around 14th

Can't see where the goals come from Berahino entering the last 12 months of his contract surely they've got to let him go and I expect them to lose Evans which is a big hit.
